After Holi Hacks

FB Page | Instagram Twitter Roposo | Pinterest

What’s cookin’ good lookin’?

First of all hope you all had the happiest holi ever and enjoyed to your heart content.

And now on to the today’s post. What’s different about this post you ask?

We may have come across many posts saying how to take precautions before holi and ways to prevent damage before holi, but come on let’s face we are too excited to give any ish…to those instructions and probably forget atleast something or the other.

Well in this case I have got you covered, because this blog is all about controlling the after effects of a wild holi.

Hair

  • First thing to do: Apply yogurt or curd to your hair and let it sit for about 30 mins, rather than washing it over and over to get rid of the color later rinse with normal tap water.
  • Use a mild shampoo and conditioner to avoid excess damage.
  • Keep your hair away from heating tools atleast a week after the holi fest.
  • It is suggested to use coconut milk or mustard oil for next week before washing your hair,as this will regain and help your reconstruct from the damage that has been caused.

Face

  • Use home-made scrubs such as a mixture of gram flour(besan) with sugar and curd, keep for 15 mins and wash it with cold water. As your daily scrubs might contain chemicals which might be more harmful for face.
  • Atleast make it an effort to use coconut or olive oil to massage in circular motions and let it sit for 5 mins and then wash face as normal.
  • Take off the mixture with a muslin cloth, rather than a towel.
  • Keep your face makeup free for atleast a day or two, so that your skin can get required time rejuvenate and regain it’s previous state.
  • It is highly recommended to immediately put on SPF as well as a nice face cream to keep the skin hydrated.

Body

  • Do not take hot water bath as it will make skin more drier.Lukewarm shower is suggested.
  • Rub oil on the skin after playing with colors as this will make the colors loose and easier to get rid off.
  • Over exfoliation and long bath can cause more damage. Instead take small shower with a gentle soap or mild shower gel.
  • After exfoliation moisturize skin thoroughly. Any body oil, heavy moisturizer/body butter is recommended.
  • After bath atleast for a week moisturize and apply sunscreen to your body to control any further damage.
  • Stay away from any kind of acetone, chemical nail polish remover or bleach to remove color because it damages skin’s PH level and makes it more sensitive.

Ya, so that’s all from me today. Hope this blog helped you all. Will see you soon with my next one.

Product Review: PAC Beauty Blender Sponge

FB Page | Instagram Twitter Roposo | Pinterest

Hi Guys,

First of all a very Happy New Year to you all. Hope you had a great start and hope you get all that you deserve and wish for. 🙂

Today I’m back with a new product review of PAC Beauty Blender sponge.

img_4738

PAC is an Indian cosmetic company which has recently launched a more affordable version of the Original Beauty Blender. Same look and same color but some differences. Now they have many variants of Beauty Blender Sponge like Classic Pink, a pair of red/black, mini beauty blender set of four etc.

fullsizerender-8

Packaging

The one that I have is the pair of black beauty blender which retails for INR 745 from Amazon.in (Click here to buy) . It comes in a plastic box and inside it there is a mesh pouch for hygiene, storage and travel purposes with magnetic opening for easy access

  How to use?

  • Run the beauty blender under water and squeeze it against a towel.
  • You want the sponge to be semi-wet. ( It will double in size once it is damp )
  • Pick up the product with the more rounded side of the sponge. Stipple it or dab the blender all over the face.
  • Use the pointed side of the blender for hard to get areas such as under the eyes, inner corner of the eyes, around the nose and mouth etc.

How to maintain?

  • To wash it fill a cup or a bowl of luke warm water, add some liquid soap (which is not to harsh for your skin) eg. Dettol Skincare handwash
  • Let it soak in the soap water and the squeeze and rub the blender with your thumb around the used areas to get off the product.
  • Change the water 2-3 times and repeat the process until it is clean and back to its original self
  • Do not squeeze or rub too hard a it might tear the blender.
  • It is highly suggested to wash it thoroughly after each use as if it is damp and not washed for a longer period of time it will form fungus all over the surface, which in return will also develop skin issues and acne.

My Review

(Disclaimer: The thoughts mentioned in this review are solely my own, I have never used the Original Beauty Blender, but I have used the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for over a year now and so the review mentioned below will be in regards to that product)

Packaging:

One of the things that attracted me to buy this product was the fact that it comes with a pouch, the mesh pouch is amazing as it does keep the product airy and hygienic, and it is travel friendly at the same time.Since I use this product on regular basis it is was more feasible for me to buy it in pair rather that a single pack.

Price:

From the price point of view, this is quite a reasonable product available in India as the OG beauty blender is quite pricey and the real techniques miracle sponge is not easily available in India. Ofcourse there are online sights that sell them but at a higher or a differed price that it’s retail cost, which for me is a loss for such a product that I use on daily basis and is required more frequently .

Look & Shape:

What I gained on buying a pair of this product is that I get to use and experience two different shapes at the same time. The look of the first one is more like a bulgy egg shape rather than a tear-drop shape, since it is more rounded and a little larger to handle. Now, I have a small face so for me this is a tad-bit larger to place on certain areas of face.

Whereas, the other one is tapered on one end and has a flat surface on the other end . The real reason that I chose to buy this is that I can experience using the egg shaped  beauty blender which undoubtedly resembles OG beauty blender which I did not have, where as the other one which resembles Real Techniques Miracle Sponge can be kept as a back up. I will say that the PAC beauty blender sponge is more stiffer and finely packed, which in result is more harder to squeeze than the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge.

img_4749

Finish and Application:

The application and finish is indeed very flawless and beautiful, it dies not leave streaks post application and also easily blends the product. However I will say that layering any product with this sponge might not be a good idea as it has a tendency to soak product, which will result in lifting the previously applied product rather than blending the new layer of product. Other than that there is nothing to dislike about this product.

Uses:

This product has been a gem to when for the uses that it has provided. Blend in the foundation and concealer. Apply cream blush or cream contour. Bake or set the face with loose powder or compact powder (which I always do). Mellow down the stark highlight. This product has been a gem to when for the uses that it has provided.

This product can definitely change your makeup game. Plus if you are lazy like me to use brushes it is a God sent saviour. Thus wrapping this long essay review, I would suggest you all to buy this product keeping in mind the price point, easy availability and it’s multipurpose uses.

That’s it guys! Hope you liked my review. If so then…

WINTER WEARABLE DIARY

FB Page | Instagram Twitter Roposo | Pinterest

Hi Guys,

This is my very first Outfit Diary on my blog. Yeah!

In India, winters are generally chilly and breezy rather than snowing or extreme temperature drops. So keeping in mind the weather of the place I live in I have picked up outfits that I would and did wear this winter season.  They are all practical and wearable. Elements of the outfits are easily achievable and will not damage your pocket.

So about outfits, I have started with general weather and then indulged into proper winter wear, meaning starting with vest and shorts and then jumping into sweaters and woolen scarves etc.

Outfit #1

For this outfit I choose to wear a jean shorts and an everyday wearable white tee. Pretty basic, but to add amp up this look I carried on a camel colored vest and my all time fav tan bagpack. Also for my footwear I chose to wear my invisible heeled blue suede sneaker boots, since I’m petite and gaining height from any source is always my first priority in an outfit.

Also I DIY’d this choker with spare white lace and a bag pin I had lying around. Later on added my sunnies.

img_4493

Outfit #2

img_3899

This second outfit is more body covering yet stylish with certain vogue elements such as, Long Flannel Shirt. Flannels are a kind of soft woven fabric, typically made of wool or cotton and slightly milled and raised.

I paired my Long Flannel Shirt with basic black tank top along with shaded distress jeans. My footwear was blue suede invisible heel booties.

img_4516

For accessories I added a good old choker. Later on I also added a Cap to this look to give it more of a rock chic vibe.

Outfit #3

img_4499

Blending in with the colder climate for my third outfit I chose to wear a nice green colored sweater (Certainly bright for Winters but in my defense the weather was sunny). Pairing it with brown corduroy leggings and and brown knitted infinity scarf tucked into my sweater. As always I had my tan bagpack and this time I opted for cutout metallic wedges to step out from the monotony of the look.

Outfit #4

img_4507

This might be one of my favorite look for this season, First of all I have to mention the star of this look. The Bennie!!!. This Bennie was comfortable to wear and super cute to pull off, and the added fluffy pompom on the top was just my calling.

Moving on with this look I was into the season colors and so I chose to go with autumnal colors like brown and deep blues. Full sleeves brown sweater/tee paired with distressed blue jeggings. Choice of footwear was my blue suede invisible heels booties (well that’s a mouthfull!) and my tan bagpack.

I was indeed super excited about the bennie and also carried my black woolen infinity scarf for some warmth.

img_4523

Outfit #5

img_4505

The last look. Well for this on I went in with greys and blues making it an overall cool-toned look. I have always been obsessed with turtle necks for winter. They elevate the look, keep you warm and looks classy any damn day.

I wore a smocking patterned Turtle neck body hugging tee with a my distressed blue jeggings. I carried an asymmetric grey shrug to keep me warm throughout the day.

Also shoe wise wore my heeled blue booties. (bae…). To Accessorize I wore a dainty gold chain and my marble sunnies to complete the look.

img_4522

(Sorry, all my items are quite random. So I could not list them or mention where I got them from. I will make sure to enlist everything next time)

So there it is, my very first lookbook blogpost. Easy, day-to-day, casual, wearable for Indian winters, I hope it helped you in some way and you gained something from it. So if you liked this post and want more posts like this, then you know what to do….

Go To Makeup Look

Hey guys,

First of all I’m very sorry for being MIA for past 2 weeks but I was on a holiday trip 😉 and so I had no gadgets nor WiFi or internet connection. But none the less I’m back now and my agenda for the last 15 days of the month is to have an EXPRESS BLOG FORTNIGHT which basically means 15 days and 5 posts. This being the first one. The schedule will be posted on my social media soon SO STAY TUNED

So for today’s post I want to share with you all my go-to/on the go makeup routine the products I use and the way I carry it through out the day

Makeup routine is a very personal thing for each individual. It depends on each person’s taste, their skin type, their wardrobe choices and many such factors like that. Some like it more bold some like it more subtle and a bright lip. There are many such options and there is no right or wrong way when it comes this, it’s all about personal choice.

I for one like to keep my makeup light on skin with using only needed products and switch between lip options.

Products / Method:

  • So now that winters are round the corner I have a mini morning skin care routine as well where I cleanse my face, tone it up with some rose water and moisturize with a my daily moisturizer.
  • SPF is an important part of a routine even for cold gloomy days. But me being a lazy bum I forget about it of which wing it, but guys make sure not to do that
  • Nivea for Men Sensitive After Shave Balm: I use this product as a primer before putting on the base as it gives smooth canvas and helps blend the makeup well. I have a full review on it so Click here to Check it out  BUY HERE

  • NYX correcting concealer, light/pale: I have naturally pigmented eyes and dark circles so color correcting is a crucial step for me. which is why I use this product before concealer. BUY SIMILAR PRODUCT HERE

  • Maybelline Fit me concealer in 25 Medium: This concealer is a good match with pretty decent coverage. A little around my lips, eye lids and on to my dark circles works just fine. BUY HERE
  • L’oreal Mat Magique Pressed Powder, G2 Golden Ivory: So to set concealed areas I use the sponge provided with the compact. Where as to all over the face I buff it with a small kabuki brush. BUY HERE

  • Collection Pressed Powder, Warm Bronze 15: I like to bronze up my face as I feel the colder months gradually turn me paler. I avoid fierce contour all together rather just brush a warm color all over my face. BUY SIMILAR PRODUCT HERE
  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara: Mascara is a must for me any day. So first I use my I lash curler to give lashes an uplift and the apply mascara and gradually building up as per my liking. Along with that I give my eyebrows as comb through with a toothbrush to keep them in place. Also I apply mascara on both upper and lower lashes. BUY HERE
  • Lip options: My Lips options vary as per the day and the event. But some of my on the go lipsticks are SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick – Holly Golightly BUY HERE and MAYBELLINE Creamy Matte lipstick – Touch of spice BUY HERE

(p.s: I use a beauty sponge on a daily basis to blend in foundation or concealer as it is easier and faster to work with.)

So there it is guys, my On The Go Makeup routine. Hope you guys liked it and found it helpful as well.

If so then…

Travel 101: Packing Tips

Hi Guys,

As holidays are here and most of us are psyched up for travel and holiday plans, So I thought why not to share some travel and packing nick knacks with you all.

img_3483

I mean we are girls and we get at least a little paranoid when we know we have to leave our entire wardrobe behind and carry just a certain part of it, so I guess over packing is a part of being a woman. Anyways let’s just get into some pointer that I believe might help you through packing for this holiday season.

(Now some of these are things I have read about or heard about or seen, where as some are my personal experiences)

Skipping through the basics such as reusing and recycling clothes, filling the dead spaces, stuffing shoes into shower bags etc. I would like to jump to some other important points that might generally slip through our minds.

  • Roll ’em Jeans

Rolling down jeans into a wrap will help downsize the space utilized for that which will surely help to fill it up with other important stuff. Also I’m one of those persons who like to carry their own towel just in-case the hotel might not provide. In that case its advisable to roll it up as well and tuck it in the rare corner of the bag, so that it does not bother in between picking clothes.

Although I won’t suggest rolling up tees or blouses as they are lighter and might crumble easily and we might end up wearing tee full of creases.

  • Power of zip-locks

After a personal experience of almost ruining a three day trip by spilling a whole bottle of hair spray all over my clothes I have indeed realized the power and utility of a zip lock bag. Any liquid may it be hair spray, after shaves, perfumes, foundations etc. pack it in a zip lock to avoid spilling and facing a traumatic, sticky and gooey massacre scenario.

plastic-ziplock-bag-ziplock-bag-reeozu-clipart

  • Place Vertically down

When a bag is vertically placed i.e. in the standing position the clothes within will naturally be pushed downwards, more so if they are kept on the lower end of the bag might get crumbled by the weight of heavier clothes or stuff like shoes, resulting into crease and tear of lighter clothes. Thus suggested to keep jeans or shoes etc items on the lower end of the bag as per the vertical position.

img_3479

  • The carry-on rule

‘Just because it’s a full size bag does not mean you can stuff it to the point where it bursts open right before check-in’ That being said trying to limit stuff to carry according to the size of carry on can effectively help downsize the items we plan to carry.

  • Extra bags

Sometimes it may so happen that we might run out of space or might have soiled shoes or clothes, during times like that it might come in handy to have an extra recyclable or poly-bags, as sometimes hotel shower caps are just not enough.

  • Weather check

It is one of the most important part to packing, checking weather prior to packing helps in prioritizing the items to be carried and as a result help in avoiding over packing. Also will help you carry appropriate clothes to actual protect you from any unusual weather or climate changes.

  • Know policies

If traveling by air always go through the packing policy of that particular airlines to avoid any mishaps during traveling as procuring items from customs are next to impossible and the loss of items is literally indeed heartbreaking.

  • Cotton pads

It’s down right devastating when you pull out a compact powder or an eye shadow to apply just to know it has been shattered into bits. So to prevent your pressed powder or eye shadow from cracking during your travels, place a flat cotton wool pad in between the pressed powder and the lid.

So that’s all from my end about packing tips. Hope it helps you pack light and on point. Also shout out to a friend for Ishan for pitching the idea for this blog. He also has his own blog. So checkout his blog click on this link Ishan Derivaties

Nivea Men Aftershave Balm as Face Primer

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to share with you one of my alll time fav product i.e. Nivea Men Aftershave Balm, which I use as a FACE PRIMER. Yeah that’s right!. Lately it has been raved among the beauty community about this product being the cheapest Face primer with a highend result. Since NikkiTutorials (AKA YouTube Beauty Guru) discovered it and told her little anecdote about how she got around to using it, people all around the Internet have been trying this and passing on their review.

Now, I wont lie there has been a very subjective approach to this meaning, some people approve of it and some don’t. But that’s ok as I am here to give my opinion and how it works for me. ( This product was tested and frequently used only on my skin i.e dry to combination, I am here to share only and only my view point on it. Also I have the sensitive variant of this product.)

PACKAGING

  • So starting  with the packaging , it comes in a standard hard glass bottle as most men colognes.
  • The glass has a very opaque white color which is rather classy when kept on the vanity.
  • It has a plastic cap which can be unscrewed to get the product out.
  • The down side though is that unlike all fancy female cosmetic products it doesn’t have a pump, due to which excess product can spill out
  • We get 100 ml of product worth INR 235 (i.e. 3.3 fl. oz. for $ 5.54 USD)
  • Shelf life approx 2 -2.5 years.

OBSERVATIONS

  • The main ingredient which makes it possible to be used as a primer a is GLYCERIN . Now glycerin can be found in most primers as it helps the makeup to adhere to your skin.
  • There are other ingredients too which make the product worthwhile not necessarily as primer such as Dicaprylyl Carbonate, which basically penetrates into the skin post shaving. Also Isopropyl Palmitate is used in most cosmetic brands which clogs the pores. (Disclaimer: Not a cosmetologist just sharing what I read and understood about these ingredients, so don’t quote me)
  • This product does not contain silicon so it probably does not have any major oil controlling qualities.
  • The consistency of this product is not very thick at the same time not very runny, which makes it a dream to blend.
  • It has a gel sort of milky tint to it
  • It smells like basic  strong men’s soap or talc which lingers on for few seconds after application and then vanishes away.

HOW I USE IT

  • I take around 2-3 pea sized amount of the product in between  my fingers and rub it..
  • Then starting from the center and pulling it outwards, I massage it into the skin.
  •  If needed I take a little extra to cover my forehead and neck.
  • Then I leave it for a few seconds to get it settle. And then start with my base.

( Quick tip: Do not go in with a heavy moisturizer before application, go for a lighter or serum based moisturizer)

MY EXPERIENCE

  • For me, it creates a  very smooth canvas for makeup application.
  • It has a very tacky feel to it which I believe is the reason, that makeup actually sticking on to my skin
  • I know it is suggested to use a moisturizer before using any product, but me being me. I don’t use one but as far as I have observed it doesn’t matter, it gives a very soothing feel when used on a freshly washed face.
  • It does create a barrier between my skin and the foundation I apply.
  • It stays on for a pretty long time. Almost through out the day I can say. ( although my maximum wear time would be 8 hours, which generally is for most people)
  • It does not give a mattifying finish once applied, It has more of a glowy finish on my skin.
  • Now I have heard a lot of people saying that it does not control oil which can be rather true, but from my experience I used it for my makeup during Navratri nights and believe me my makeup stayed intact even after 2-3 hours of sweatiness after dancing.
  • It might be because of my skin type but none the less I did not find the Makeup Melting situation in my case. I have inserted my Post Garba Picture where you can see that I obviously have sweat but my makeup is pretty intact and in good condition.

img_3329

  • Sweat and in-built oiliness are two different things so frank suggestion try it as a sample from a friend or so for 1-2 times before making purchase.

DOWNSIDE

  • I admit applying this every time I wear my makeup, and I cannot do without it, but to be clear I don’t apply makeup every single day. So I am not the best judge whether it is safe to use it on an everyday basis.
  • Also I have dry – combination skin (dry cheeks and sometimes oily T-zone). So again I cannot say If I will work the same way on someone with oily skin.

So as Far as I am concerned. I literally cannot do without a primer before wearing makeup as most of the time I skip on moisturizer, and as per the results of this for me I have only used this as a primer and nothing else. I have also hooked my mom to using it before she does her makeup and she found it helpful as well  for her mature skin type. Now, what more can I say than this  that, I am also going to back this up as it is on sale at Nykaa.com.

To wrap up this is by far a great product and does an amazing job for my skin and I am pretty happy with the product itself and it ofcourse has been a great and worthy buy for me.

(NOTE: Highly suggested to do a patch test or one time experience  with the product to prevent any allergic reaction or skin damage before purchasing. Again all the information shared about this product is Strictly my opinion and my experience from it. It is not tempered or altered from any outside source whatsoever.)

Monthly Faves: Sept 2016

Hey guys,

First of all I’m very sorry for being MIA for past month but I had lot going on and then I took a little break. But I’m back for good now and my plan is to ease into my work. So on that note today I want to share with you guys my Sept Faves.

Sept for me has been great, a month of achievement in other factors of life. I did not buy much stuff this month but I have regularly been reaching for certain stuff every single day which I’m going to share today. So Let’s get started.

  • Nivea For Men Sensitive After Shave Balm
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Ashton
  • Two strings ease choker by Flaunt Couture
  • Zara off shoulder Top
  • Next White Amber Perfume

Nivea For Men Sensitive After Shave Balm

First things first, I don’t shave and don’t use it for the purpose it’s meant to be. But I use it as a FACE PRIMER. Yes! you did read it right. I use it on my face before I apply my base for makeup. Actually a YouTube beauty guru NikkiTutorials, I follow had discovered this as a face Primer and has a full video dedicated to it. (link will be mentioned in my next blogpost)

Now this amazing product has few ingredients which are much identical to a regular face primer. It is a great and cheap substitute. It works wonderfully. I’m so obsessed with this product I use it ever single time I wear makeup and I’m sure this will be a re-purchase asa it’s over.

(Full REVIEW & How to us it, is coming up in my next blogpost so stay tuned.)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Ashton

Oh! Holy Lord. This was, is and will be my favorite brown color ever. It is a liquid lipstick formula which is great because it stays longer than other regular lipsticks. As described on the website it is a Midtone yellow brown, but for my skintone it is a nice muted true brown color.I wear it during day or at night with smokey eye look or just a mascara. It looks stunning no matter what. It has a very subtle way of uplifting any look. And I kid you not but I have literally not left my hands off this color for past month, to an extent where my friends literally had to mock me to wear something else. Although it is a bit drying on lips and flakes off after certain hour of wear but Hey! I just keep all that aside and devour the beauty of this color.

Two strings ease choker by Flaunt Couture

Chokers have been the thing for 2016, it has been  one of the staples in fashion world. And finally I jumped on the wagon. It is a beautiful adjustable string choker with a nice bling hanging down the neck. Specially what I love about this is the ease that it provides.

I mean I love chokers but after a certain while they are kind of suffocating and so the best part is that I can easily adjust the circumference of the choker whenever this happens and it would still look super chic. Plus the two strings actually give an illusion of a longer neck.

To Order: FLAUNT COUTURE by Prakruti Doshi. Check out their IG page and Facebook Page

Zara off shoulder Top

This is a nice casual off shoulder top and frankly my first one. and so i wanted to include it in here. The color is a mid orange-brown  but it is such a fall color and it’s pretty comfortable to wear. It doesn’t rise up with my hands moving and I guess it was a fashion peer-pressure which I guess I wanted to dive in. Also surprisingly it makes my collarbone and shoulder look much more slender and slimmer which is always a bonus. 😉

Next White Amber Perfume

This has been one of my favorite fragrance this month. I have worn it on all my special occasions and not regularly though cause it’s a gift and it smells so amazing that I don’t want to run out of it so soon. As described on the NEXT (UK based brand) website it is “Irresistible and oriental. Zesty & spicy top notes wrapped in honey & sandalwood give this floriental fragrance an irresistible character“. I agree with them but to put this in a normal man’s term, it is a beautiful warm undertoned earthy  fragrance with a very grounded feel. Perfect for the coming winters. So I quote “When I wear this I just run down the Fall lane.”

Makeup 101: Face Primer

Hi guys,

Hope you people had a great weekend. Well I’m back with some makeup tips for ya’ll. Primers have been on of the most important factor of any makeup routine. But some of us are still ignorant to the fact and have a notion in mind that primers are only beneficial for oily skins. But that my friends is just a myth. Priming is one of the basic steps for base routine, which is as important as applying any foundation or concealer.

So today first of all I’m going to give a general idea on primers a followed by the basic importance/advantages of the application of primer.

What is a primer?

A foundation/face primer is a lotion or a balm or a gel applied before the foundation and after the moisturizer in a makeup routine.

Some contain antioxidants such as A, C, and E, or other ingredients such as grape seed extract and green tea extract. There are water-based and silicon-based foundation primers. Ingredients may include cyclomethicone and dimethicone. Some primers do not contain preservative, oil or fragrance. Some may also have sun protection factor (SPF). (P.s: Info. in this paragraph is  taken for Wikipedia)

Importance/Advantages of using a Primer

  • Creates a smooth canvas:

Imagine a goodness of a plain blank canvas before painting. Similarly Primers acts as a clear base for makeup application. Some of them reduces redness, fine lines as well as minimizes visibility of pores thus, thus giving your skin a smooth base to do further makeup.

  • Increases Longevity of Makeup

Another great reason to wear primer, is the increase the wear time of your makeup. It surely would not keep it intact around the clock but will surely keep it fresh for a fair amount of time.

  • Skin type

It is actually a subjective matter as to which primer will suit which skin type. Many mixed reviews have come across till date but the general idea here is silicone or lotion based primers are lighter on oily skin types which makes it a good option for day-to-day wear. where as for dry skin types creamier face primers are more suitable which does not flake and will keep the makeup intact for longer duration. As for combination skin, you are blessed but for you guys trial and error method works best

  • Kinds

There are different kinds of face primers in market today. Some are matte, generally for T-zone areas  where are some are illuminating primers for higher points of face or can directly mix it with foundation for a nice healthy glow. And then there are various other kinds such as anti-redness or pores minimizing or skin brightening etc which aids to the individual needs.

Some of the Primers AVAILABLE in India:
