Hi Guys,

First of all a very Happy New Year to you all. Hope you had a great start and hope you get all that you deserve and wish for. 🙂

Today I’m back with a new product review of PAC Beauty Blender sponge.

PAC is an Indian cosmetic company which has recently launched a more affordable version of the Original Beauty Blender. Same look and same color but some differences. Now they have many variants of Beauty Blender Sponge like Classic Pink, a pair of red/black, mini beauty blender set of four etc.

Packaging

The one that I have is the pair of black beauty blender which retails for INR 745 from Amazon.in (Click here to buy) . It comes in a plastic box and inside it there is a mesh pouch for hygiene, storage and travel purposes with magnetic opening for easy access

  How to use?

  • Run the beauty blender under water and squeeze it against a towel.
  • You want the sponge to be semi-wet. ( It will double in size once it is damp )
  • Pick up the product with the more rounded side of the sponge. Stipple it or dab the blender all over the face.
  • Use the pointed side of the blender for hard to get areas such as under the eyes, inner corner of the eyes, around the nose and mouth etc.

How to maintain?

  • To wash it fill a cup or a bowl of luke warm water, add some liquid soap (which is not to harsh for your skin) eg. Dettol Skincare handwash
  • Let it soak in the soap water and the squeeze and rub the blender with your thumb around the used areas to get off the product.
  • Change the water 2-3 times and repeat the process until it is clean and back to its original self
  • Do not squeeze or rub too hard a it might tear the blender.
  • It is highly suggested to wash it thoroughly after each use as if it is damp and not washed for a longer period of time it will form fungus all over the surface, which in return will also develop skin issues and acne.

My Review

(Disclaimer: The thoughts mentioned in this review are solely my own, I have never used the Original Beauty Blender, but I have used the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for over a year now and so the review mentioned below will be in regards to that product)

Packaging:

One of the things that attracted me to buy this product was the fact that it comes with a pouch, the mesh pouch is amazing as it does keep the product airy and hygienic, and it is travel friendly at the same time.Since I use this product on regular basis it is was more feasible for me to buy it in pair rather that a single pack.

Price:

From the price point of view, this is quite a reasonable product available in India as the OG beauty blender is quite pricey and the real techniques miracle sponge is not easily available in India. Ofcourse there are online sights that sell them but at a higher or a differed price that it’s retail cost, which for me is a loss for such a product that I use on daily basis and is required more frequently .

Look & Shape:

What I gained on buying a pair of this product is that I get to use and experience two different shapes at the same time. The look of the first one is more like a bulgy egg shape rather than a tear-drop shape, since it is more rounded and a little larger to handle. Now, I have a small face so for me this is a tad-bit larger to place on certain areas of face.

Whereas, the other one is tapered on one end and has a flat surface on the other end . The real reason that I chose to buy this is that I can experience using the egg shaped  beauty blender which undoubtedly resembles OG beauty blender which I did not have, where as the other one which resembles Real Techniques Miracle Sponge can be kept as a back up. I will say that the PAC beauty blender sponge is more stiffer and finely packed, which in result is more harder to squeeze than the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge.

Finish and Application:

The application and finish is indeed very flawless and beautiful, it dies not leave streaks post application and also easily blends the product. However I will say that layering any product with this sponge might not be a good idea as it has a tendency to soak product, which will result in lifting the previously applied product rather than blending the new layer of product. Other than that there is nothing to dislike about this product.

Uses:

This product has been a gem to when for the uses that it has provided. Blend in the foundation and concealer. Apply cream blush or cream contour. Bake or set the face with loose powder or compact powder (which I always do). Mellow down the stark highlight. This product has been a gem to when for the uses that it has provided.

This product can definitely change your makeup game. Plus if you are lazy like me to use brushes it is a God sent saviour. Thus wrapping this long essay review, I would suggest you all to buy this product keeping in mind the price point, easy availability and it’s multipurpose uses.

That’s it guys! Hope you liked my review. If so then…
